1992 was Michael's first
full race season.
Michaels Team mate for '92 was Martin Brundle he did not qualify as well as Michael had 5 podium finishes but
he only
managed 38 Championship Points and finished 6th - Michael was making an ever increasingly bigger impression in
F1
Qualifying consistently in the top 6 with 8 podium finishes and the first win of his career in F1 at
Spa a year after his first race was pretty impressive, even more so at the end of the season he was third in the drivers
championship behind Nigel Mansell & Riccardo Patrese and 3 points Ahead of Ayrton Senna and 5 points ahead of Gerhard
Berger.
The Constructors title went to Williams-Renault with 164 points, McLaren-Honda second on 99 points, Benetton-Ford were third with 91 points.
